Well that sure didn’t take long! Head coach Mike Singletary has named Shaun Hill the starting quarterback for the teams next game against the Arizona Cardinals. It was first thought and blogged about that Singletary would wait until naming a starting qb, but reports started to surface Monday afternoon that Hill was named the starter.

“Coach Martz and I looked at the film. We talked about it a bit last night, we got together this morning and after looking at the film, really felt like Shaun Hill would be the best quarterback going forward,” said Singletary.

I would expect Hill to play the full game against the Cardinals unless he comes out and throws three picks in the first half. Hopefully he will make better decisions then J.T. O’Sullivan did atleast.
